St Chad’s Mother’s Union meets at 2pm in Poulton Methodist Church Hall on Queensway every 4th Wednesday and the Evening group meets on the 2nd Tuesday at 7.30pm in Teanlowe 60+ Community Centre. We have Corporate Communion the first Tuesday in the month in St Chad’s at 10.00 am except in August.

The Mothers' Union is a global movement, present in 84 countries and our members are not all mothers, or even all women. They are single, married, parents, grandparents, or young adults just beginning to express their social conscience. Our vision is to show our Christian faith by helping the sustainable transformation of communities worldwide.

We aim to: encourage parents in their role to develop the faith of their children, maintain a worldwide fellowship of Christians united in prayer, worship and service, promote conditions in society favourable to stable family life and the protection of children, help those whose family life has met with adversity, promote and support married life.

So if you’d like to join us, further details can be obtained from the Branch Leader June Challis Tel. 01253 864534 or Mob. 07812770241

Theme –Transformation – Serving Christ in every way

Now you are the body of Christ, and each one of you is a part of it.                                                                          1 Corinthians 12:27
Christ has no body now on earth but yours, no hands but yours, no feet but yours.  Yours are the eyes through which he must look out with Christ’s compassion on the world.  Yours are the feet with which he is to go about doing good, yours are the hands with which he blesses now.                                                                       St Teresa of Avila

Loving Lord, we thank you for your unfailing love and continued guidance as we follow in the footsteps of our Servant King.
Fill us with your grace and equip us to serve that we may reach out to the world you love.  Amen
