Holy Week and Easter

Easter F 2
Holy Week is a very important time of the the Christian year. It is an opportunity to enter into the mystery of Christ's suffering and death on the cross, and through this to celebrate the Resurrection of our Lord, and the gift of resurrection offered to us.

Palm Sunday, 24 March - Christ enters into Jerusalem.

Traditionally our Eucharists today begin with a recalling of Christ's triumphal entry into Jerusalem, thus palm crosses are blessed and distributed. It also includes the dramatic reading of the passion story.
