07 Lynne   Joan Swan
Lynne Brackpool   Joan Swan
"Lynne Brackpool here. I am one of the Churchwardens at St Chad's. I am also the Parish Safeguarding Officer for our under 18's and vulnerable adults. I first came to St Chad's to be baptised in order that I could be a Godmother to one of my friend's children. From Baptism I was then confirmed which was some sixteen years ago and I haven't looked back since! God's Blessings be with you all."

"I am Joan Swan, a Church Warden at St. Chads with a responsibility for our joint Church of England and Roman Catholic church of St. Martin and St. Hilda Carleton. It is a privilege to serve the priests and people of our churches. I also have the delight of directing our Ecumenical choir which brings together choristers from our three benefice fellowships together with our friends from St John's RC Church.

05 Penny   06 David
Penny Waters   David Chadwick
I took up the Verger role in October 2017. The duties are many and varied often feeling like a ‘work in progress’, so you may find me serving at Altar or standing on it replacing the candles in the great chandelier!
My duties include setting up for weekly services, ordering supplies and supporting the Clergy at services including weddings, funerals and baptisms. I act as crucifer and server, sometimes administering the Chalice at Holy Communion. Working in this beautiful historic building is a privilege, providing the opportunity to welcome many and varied visitors from all over the world.
I play the organ for all St Chad's Sunday services and weekday services including weddings and funerals etc. I also train and conduct St Chad's Church Choir. In addition I plan the music used in Church, including the hymns we sing.

09 Dorothy   08 Lindsay
Dorothy Griffiths   Lindsay Mason
Dorothy is the Secretary to the Parochial Church Council and is also involved in many different areas of St Chad's.   "I was commissioned as Vision Champion for our Parish in May 2016. My role is to be a positive and encouraging voice, drawing attention to the resources and opportunities that Vision 2026 offers as well as praying for the blessing of God on the parish, local community and across the Diocese. I run our Facebook page and like to be involved with Church activities as much as possible, helping to plan events such as our Church in the Churchyard days and social group activities."
